NAPAC is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization in Harrison, AR., licensed by the FCC to operate KBHQ-LPFM radio at 100.7 FM. Supported entirely by donations and sponsorships, KBHQ is truly Harrison's only locally owned and operated full service music station.
Filling a void in the local Harrison community, KBHQ programs "Classic Rock Hits" from 1960 through 2005 (Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Rush, Led Zeppelin, REO Speedwagon, Styx, Mellencamp, ZZ Top, Motley Crue, Foo Fighters, Nickelback, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Metallica...), and all by request. Featured programming on KBHQ spotlights our NAPAC Member bands, and broadcasts all NAPAC events.
KBHQ is also more than just a music station. Three local news reports from BWR Newsradio every weekday, In-Studio Color Weather Radar, the latest in Entertainment News, contests and giveaways - with listeners on air... and online!
Through donations, event participation and individual membership, our listeners are our biggest fans! They are the very core of the NAPAC support team.
NAPAC Memberships help sponsor performers who become part of the NAPAC team. These are performers, who are not usually paid to play, that produce their own music. Sadly, that music will never see major radio play, simply because they are not on the major music charts.
NAPAC Performers enjoy radio time - not only on KBHQ radio, but also through our developing national radio broadcast affiliates, online podcasts and streaming events.
A NAPAC Membership allows us to create events featuring these talented performers, raising money to benefit Band, Choir and Drama programs in schools. (more...)
Everyone knows that a radio station survives through its advertisers - however, by law, KBHQ is not permitted to sell advertising! As a "Nonprofit Community Radio" station, KBHQ is supported by the business community who support the NAPAC Mission.
